'Child Variety' has been lead by MBC Sunday Night - Dad Where Are We Going (DWAWG) and now KBS has joined the backfire with 'Superman is Back'. SBS parenting entertainment program, "Oh My Baby" has started to compete too. TV Chosun will start broadcasting 'Well, Alright' in October and makes DWAWG has three competitors.

KBS - Superman Is Back

Three parts of 'Superman Is Back' has aired already as a pilot program during last Chuseok holiday. All three parts got 8% viewership rating from AGB Nielsen and already gained viewers. The contribution of regular viewers and raising popular program, the countdown has started. Taking prime time place of KBS2TV Happy Sunday Mammamia broadcast time, Superman Is Back will face to face with DWAWG.

The early broadcast of Superman is Back has in common with Dad Where Are We Going. But, the characters and background has been changed to the different situation and didn't have same 'episode'. Superman Is Back didn't travel to a strange place but took a familiar living space and work has different charms with dad babysits their kids, the show provides completely different format.

SBS - Oh My Baby

SBS 'Parenting Twilight' variety program, 'Oh My Baby' has joined the competition to capture audience of 'children show'. TV Chosun - Well, Alright

In TV Chosun channel, new travel variety show 'Well, Alright' will showing up in October. 'Well, Alright' is the show where grandparents goes 1 night 2 days trip traveling with their grandchildren to the beautiful villages in Korea. At first, it reminiscent of Grandpas Over Flowers, 1 Night 2 Days and DWAWG. MBC DWAWG Chinese Version is showing signs that will become a big hit.

According to MBC on October 14, first broadcast of DWAWG Chinese version [Oct 11, 10PM] on Hunan TV recorded 1.46% national ratings. Breakthrough to be rated at 1% in China region is not easy with dozens of channels.

Expectations of the viewers is really high because the show is imported with successful format in Korea, Dad-Son/Daughters couples from the China top stars has highly anticipated, such as Lin Zhi Ying couple.
